2019 Mazda CX-5 Debut in North America
While attending the 2018 Seattle Auto Show this past weekend, Mazda made quite a splash with their new models. The 2019 Mazda CXC-5 debuted in North America with a gorgeous display that showcased its top trim level, the Signature. Here’s what we know about the new crossover already.
The 2019 Mazda CX-5 Signature, which was the model shown at the auto show, is equipped with a turbocharged SKYACTIV-2.5T engine and the new G-Vectoring Control Plus system. This allows for improved handling and power, which is what many customers and drivers wanted for the new CX-5 model. The turbocharged engine is the same one that is found in the new Mazda CX-9 and Mazda6 as well.
Along with the enhanced powertrain, the interior of the CX-5 has also undergone some upgrades, with the Signature trim level being highlighted by the Caturra Brown Nappa leather and genuine layered wood accent trim. Plus, this trim level has been updated with Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™ integration, heated and cooled front seats, a reconfigurable 7.0-TFT gauge display, heated rear outboard seats, heated steering wheel, a 10-speaker Bose® Premium Sound System and Mazda Active Driving Display that is projected onto the windshield. Then, for added safety and awareness, there is 360° View Monitor that features front and rear parking sensors as well.
From its smooth ride, premium interior with high-end amenities, and overall thrilling driving experience, the 2019 Mazda CX-5 will definitely be a stand-out model on the market. We can’t wait to see what it all brings to the road, and what the trim levels other than the Signature will offer drivers. To stay up-to-date on new CX-5 information, continue to follow our blog!
